The Lunch Club *finally!*

Soooooo I've been searching for a way to commune with fellow foodies (and possibly some hotties) like myself here in Lagos and not just my grubby 'colleague-turned-friend' Bukola (count yourself lucky your name is being mentioned here. When you become famous remember where it all began...)

Where was I? Yes. Foodies. Commune. Lagos.

Eat.Drink.Lagos happens to be an online food review blog focused on restaurants here in Lagos (I actually followed their lead in picking a spot for my birthday dinner..and my choice from the menu was well worth it. Bukky might not say the same. She pretty much ordered mere vitamins for dinner that night*sigh*) and apparently they started a Lunch Club!

Trust me, I subscribed asap. I'm sure I am way behind schedule but then, better late than never...

Unfortunately, I can't be a part of this weekend's shindig cause I'm as broke as ever *side-eye* Patiently waiting for pay-day.

But then the next hangout which is more like an 'All-You-Can-Eat-In-One-Week-But-In-One-Day' Food Festival comes up in December. See more details below :)

P.S: Thanks to Eat.Drink.Lagos (again) Bukky and I have decided to have brunch at BurgersAndShakes and Nosa (one of the reviewers) happens to work not too far from the area! 

So we plan on stalking him for a minute or two...or maybe not....or maybe. We haven't decided yet...

Its A Boy! And A Girl!!

The cargoes have landed yo! The cargoes have landed!!!  *shaking my non-existent booty*

Ok. I bet the mothers will give me that side-eye like 'Nuh uh. My baby ain't no cargo!'
Oh come on! I kid I kid. Taking it back.

Pretty sure y'all have an idea of what I'm talking about by now.
I'm an aunt (biological and adopted) once again! Whoopdidooooo!

Apparently, my big sis and 'big-sis' happened to be so in sync they were preggers at the same time. Even had a 'twin' baby shower planned for both of 'em themed, The 'Koya' Babies' Shower.

Of course I would explain how the 'Koya' came about:
My sis is Mrs Nnenna FaKOYA-Smith and the adopted sis is Mrs Queen-Anne IfeKOYA

Don't ask me how they did it. The odds were probably in their favor...
And just a little detail to their twinning story, Nnenna had a girl and Queenie had a boy! Super cute!

Yep. When it comes to babies (and food of course) my mushiness has no boundaries.

Android. As Simple As ABC

I just made an awesome discovery about say...15 minutes ago

Being an all-time foodie, I've always been interested in knowing the next name for Android's software updates. It makes me imagine how they come together and decide on what food tag to give the newest software at the time.
So I happen to be in the office where of course there is WiFi and the automatic Android software update picks up on my phone.
Then I just thought to check on the Android website and see what's new.

Call me 'lastma' (for those who don't know, that means 'the last person to hear or know about something everyone already knows about') but did you know the software names are alphabetical?
Pretty cool huh?

So it starts from the letter 'D' which is the Donut all the way to the most recent one which is 'M' for Marshmallow.

I took the time to take screenshots of each of 'em (I had fun doing it too. Oh, the things that make me happy *sigh*)

Leighton Meester. Always loved her raw talent since I watched her play Blair Waldorf in the Gossip Girl series. She probably was the main reason I followed it till the grand finale cause boy were they going off track on the script...
She is pretty much my #WomanCrush (not excluding Nse Ikpe Etim though. LOVE her!)

So imagine my 'excitement' when I happened to browse through her page on Wikipedia...

4th of August. That's MY birthday!!!

I know, I know. I'm weird. Like who cares right? But its no 'coincidence' trust me. I do believe we have a bond *straightface*
